Strawberries Around the Fountain

Strawberries Around the Fountain is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Friends of Eckhart Public Library, Inc. This event is free to attend for the whole family. How is it a fundraiser if it's free to attend? The Friends will sell strawberry shortcakes, strawberry sundaes, and strawberry shakes for $10 a piece. All profits of these sales go to the Friends of the Library who fund 100% of the library's programming! This year the library was able to purchase over 1,000 prize books for children and teens in our community because of the funds raised by the Friends of the Library. It is a delicious excuse to eat for a good cause!
Homemade Strawberry Shortcake
Homemade strawberry shortcake from the Deli at 6th and Main will be sold along with strawberry sundaes and strawberry shakes. All of these delicious options will be $10 a piece.
Face Painting
Face-painting will be offered at no cost to those attending Strawberries Around the Fountain
Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides
The DeKalb County Horseman's Association will be offering horse-drawn wagon rides in our community.
Weather permitting
Hot Dogs
Hot dogs will be available to attendees at no cost.

Me & Dad: Featuring Jimi and Randy Kimball and the Main Street Porch Band will be performing!
