Financial Donations
Financial donations are extremely helpful to the library, and every donation helps us provide opportunities to our community. If you want to donate to the library but aren't sure which way to direct your support, we have it broken down into three categories: Infrastructure & Growth, Innovation & Impact, and Programs & Events.
Infrastructure & Growth
The endowments at the Community Foundation DeKalb County and monetary donations from Eckhart Library Foundation are for the upkeep of the library long into the future. They help with large repairs, costs of staff trainings, and funds to support areas of strategic growth. Legacy gifts are best given to the Community Foundation or Library Foundation.
Donations to the endowments at the Community Foundation must be designated to Eckhart Public Library.
Innovation & Impact
Money given directly to Eckhart Public Library can be utilized in a variety of ways and right away. These donations give library staff the ability to expand our services or to bring new concepts and services to life in our community.

Programs & Events
The Friends of Eckhart Public Library, Inc. is dedicated to community grassroots support of the library through fundraising, Dine2Donate events, and book & media sales. The money they raise funds ALL library programming, events, and prize books in the next year.
