The Library of Things is Eckhart Public Library’s circulating items that can be checked out with a library card. Items are being added to our Library of Things regularly, and you can search to see what is available by looking in the categories below. If you have suggestions of items to add, please fill out the form at the bottom of the page. If you have an item you are interested in donating to this collection, please contact us.

Arts & Crafts

Drawing models, a Cricut, and other items can take your next craft day to the extreme.

Assistive Devices

Items like magnifiers, reading glasses, crutches, a walker, and cane are available for those that need additional assistance.

Board Games & Puzzles

From classic family games like Monopoly to strategic and party games. Guides are also available.

From WiFi hotspots to laptops and cameras, there are multiple electronic items available.

Museum Passes

Passes and admission tickets are available to area and state museums.

Outdoor Activities

Whether you need a fishing pole, stroller, pop-up tent, or even a game of corn hole, we’ve got you covered.

Reminisce Kits

Specialty kits designed to invoke memories and past events for those suffering with memory loss and dementia. Information for caregivers is also available.

Tools like graphing calculators and microscopes are available for those interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

Ties & Scarves

Whether you need to go to a job interview or are attending an event. Ties and Scarves are available in the Library of Things with or without a library card. The ties and scarves in the Library of Things are provided through donations.
