We partner with donors to ensure literacy, learning, and a place for all - forever, through
steadfast support of Eckhart Public Library's critical operations and infrastructure.
In 2018 the Eckhart Library Foundation was created following a devastating arson fire at the main library. Through the ongoing efforts of the Foundation, Eckhart Public Library underwent a transformation by the time it reopened in March 2020. Twelve hours later, the pandemic temporarily closed the library doors. Through it all, the Foundation provided volunteer and stable financial support that resulted in the library remaining debt-free and remaining on the National Register of Historic Places. Surviving two crises back-to-back reinforced the commitment to ensuring a place for all- forever through the steadfast support of Eckhart Public Library.
We welcome you to join us in supporting the library through the Foundation. Your time, talent, and treasure will help keep the fountain flowing and so much more.
