Library Closed: Labor Day
The Eckhart Public Library campus will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 29, and be closed on Saturday, August 30, and Monday, September 1 in observance of Labor Day. The library campus will reopen on Tuesday, September 2.

Get ready for a celebration of eBooks on an international scale! On Thursday, September 18th, library patrons and students are invited to take part in the largest digital reading event to show appreciation and raise awareness for eBooks.
On September 18th, OverDrive (provider for EPL's ebooks and eAudiobooks) will participate by giving away tablets and devices every hour through social media to readers who tell their eBook story on Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #eBookDay. They can also comment directly on www.readanebookday.com

Preschool Storytime, for children 2-6 years old, meets once a week to explore a different theme with books, songs, fingerplays, games, and crafts
Toddler Friends 1 2 3, where children 18 months to 3 years old and their parents, grandparents, or caregivers participate in center-based learning, story, music, and fingerplays
Reads Storytime, a story for children 12-24 months old and
their caregivers that includes books, songs, action rhymes, and fingerplays.
