Amnesty Program: Food For Fines

From December 1st to December 30th, the library will waive patron overdue fines with a donation of non-perishable food items. To participate in the amnesty program, library patrons must bring their donated non-perishable food items to the circulation desk. A library staff member will collect and record the donation.

Donations of non-perishable food items will be donated to area food banks for community distribution. If a patron has a large fine to be waived, we suggest donating several food items. Charges for lost items, as well as postage and processing fees, are not included in this offer.
